24. LUCK OF LUCKS

The first and only star I saw in the early evening was Sadalsuud (Beta Aquarii). Its name comes from the Arabic phrase “Sa‘d al-Su‘ud,“ meaning “Luck of Lucks“ or “Fortune of Fortunes.“ It is part of the constellation Aquarius, a symbol of progress, equality, and thinking beyond the self for the greater good. Aquarius is also associated with unconventional ideas and the pursuit of knowledge.
