15. ASTROLOGY ADVANTAGE

When Ophira and Tali Edut (the AstroTwins) hosted a book launch party last month, I jumped at the chance to attend just to thank them in person. I’ve read their horoscopes for years and found wisdom that didn’t sound ancient, practical advice that made a lot of sense, and ideas worth considering.

In their book, THE ASTROLOGY ADVANTAGE, they categorize the various personalities in astrology into three archetypes: Innovator, Authority, and Maven. It helped me feel less alone in my habits and to laugh at myself. My favorite passage is: “How (and why) is the Innovator referencing neoclassical architecture and ‘90s hip-hop in the same sentence? Nobody knows, not even the Innovator, until they reach the end of the thought. They’re ‘building the plane in the air,’ as the saying goes.” 

Their appearance on the Bialik Breakdown podcast is also worth a watch/listen. Very entertaining and relatable!
